About Me

My very first cooking memory was frying chicken with my grandma when I was about 5 years old. She had me standing on a kitchen table chair at the stove in front of a cast iron skillet. Scared the crap out of my mama, but I remember having so much fun and laughing. My love for learning about food was solidified. Family Meals that were simple yet prepared with love were my happy place.

I made a career of working in almost every position in the traditional restaurant and working with ex-offenders to reintegrate back into their lives. It was then I found that I loved showing others that cooking with love will elevate any dish you can create.

I am now making fun short tutorials for the everyday cook who may be struggling to get a meal on the table, teaching home economics to underserved youth & adults, and being absolutely obsessed with my air fryer.
